Library Hours for Easter Break

Easter Break starts at the end of the day today! Here are the library hours for break: Wednesday, 4/16: 8 am - 5 pm Thursday-Sunday, 4/17-20: Closed Monday, 4/12: 1 pm - 1 am The regular library schedule resumes on Tuesday, 4/22. Have a wonderful and safe break. And if you have work to do when the library is closed, don't forget that we are always open online. Use a database, or our citation tool, to complete your projects whenever you want. We are also monitoring our email, voicemail, and virtual reference services, so if you have a question, please ask and we will get back to you!

Holiday Library Hours


M-F, 12/16-20: 8 am–5 pm
Sat 12/21-Sun 1/5: CLOSED
M-F, 1/6-10: 8 am-5 pm
Sat, 1/11: CLOSED
Sun, 1/12: Noon-5 pm

Even when the library is closed, you can use our databases or Ask Us 24/7.  We will also be watching our email, voice mail, and text reference during break. So if you need something, let us know!

The reception honors faculty and staff who have published scholarship during the years 2011 and 2012.

Library Database Workshops

These are 30-minute, fast-paced sessions, open to all, designed to show you basic searching tips. Passport categories: SMTL or CYOE.

All workshops begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Library Instruction Lab.

Thursday, November 8: PubMed Central: PubMed Central is a full-text archives of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institute of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).

Tuesday, November 13: JSTOR: JSTOR is a trusted source for peer-reviewed, academic content. It contains more than a thousand academic journals and over 1 million images, letters, and other primary sources, as well as links to other resources.
